Salary: USD 166,345 - 195,700 / annual
Coinbase is seeking a Principal Recruiter to join the Core Recruiting team within People Success. This role owns full-lifecycle recruiting for complex, senior-level searches across Coinbase's G&A functions, partnering directly with senior leaders to understand talent needs and drive hiring excellence.
Key responsibilities include owning the complete recruitment lifecycle from role intake through close for senior-level positions; building candidate pipelines through self-sourcing and competitive research to maintain hiring velocity; partnering with senior leaders to translate hiring needs into effective search strategies while ensuring strong candidate and interviewer experiences; driving data integrity and using pipeline analytics to identify bottlenecks and improve hiring outcomes; and designing and implementing recruiting processes and pilot programs to help the team scale impact across global markets.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience in a technology company or similarly fast-paced, high-growth environment, with demonstrated success closing senior and hard-to-attract candidates. Required qualifications include experience building and scaling recruiting processes across global markets, deep knowledge of the entire candidate lifecycle from talent mapping through closing, a data-driven approach to pipeline management with ability to translate recruiting metrics into strategic recommendations, and responsible use of generative AI while maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
