Socure is building identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy, verifying identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The company is experiencing rapid growth and needs investment in a sophisticated launch process that scales with increasing volume while maintaining high standards across the organization.
You will build and lead a small Launch Operations team that maintains clear visibility across upcoming product launches and keeps cross-functional teams aligned. Initially, you will serve as the senior individual contributor in this role, proving value before the team is staffed. You will prioritize the most essential elements to track and report on, allowing Product Managers to focus on strategy, narrative, and customer readiness while you provide the operational backbone.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running a weekly launch accountability forum using a leaderboard developed with Product Manager input, spotting risks early, testing resolution plans, and keeping work moving forward without executing tasks yourself.
- Owning the launch checklist and ownership model, shifting from PMs managing every detail to direct task ownership by functional leads (Legal, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, etc.).
- Refining the checklist over time with Product Operations teammates, adding or removing items as needs evolve.
- Sharing clear updates and digests with partner groups to keep open items top of mind.
- Pulling target launch dates directly from roadmap tools like Aha! or Jira instead of relying on manually updated spreadsheets.
- Establishing clear criteria for when a feature enters the launch checklist process (typically 6–12 weeks before launch).
- Adapting alongside Product Operations systems and tools as automation and operational maturity increase.
Success means executive leadership can understand accurate launch status without manual updates, every checklist item is owned by the functional team doing the work, at-risk items get clear recovery plans immediately, launch cadence scales smoothly across major releases, commercial and field teams have timely visibility into timelines with a rolling 90-day window, and you eventually build and lead a team focused on tracking launch health across strategic initiatives.
You will sit within Product Strategy & Operations and collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Legal, RevOps, Engineering, and other teams to make execution seamless.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 15+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, or cross-functional tech operations inside product or engineering teams.
- Proven experience running effective accountability rhythms (recurring reviews, status dashboards, operating cadence) that build trust and drive results through influence.
- Demonstrated success managing or building a team of contractors and FTEs from the ground up.
- Comfort working with product roadmap tools (Aha!, Productboard) and issue tracking software (e.g., Jira, Linear); familiarity with spreadsheets and basic analytics required.
- Good understanding of product and software development lifecycles across different launch scales (new products vs. enhancements).
- Strong meeting facilitation skills—able to guide discussions, align key stakeholders, and secure clear commitments.
- Clear written communication style that makes progress updates and key takeaways easy to digest for leadership and partner teams.
- Ability to establish practical, hands-on processes today while identifying opportunities to automate and scale over time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience managing cross-functional go-to-market workflows across Legal, Product Marketing, Sales, Support, and Engineering.
- Background in B2B SaaS, fintech, or another fast-moving technology space.
- Experience building a team or operational function from scratch.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or connecting commercial data with product planning tools.
