Roblox is a platform where tens of millions of people explore, create, play, learn, and connect in 3D immersive digital experiences. As Principal Product Manager for Subscriptions and Growth, you will own the long-term strategy and roadmap for Roblox Premium, the subscription product that delivers an upgraded experience to the platform's most engaged users.
You will be responsible for the complete subscription business outcome: defining what subscribers get, why they join, why they stay, and how the subscription business compounds over time. This is a player-coach role with significant scope and influence across nearly every team at Roblox.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the long-term strategy and roadmap for subscriptions, including subscriber value proposition, tiering, pricing, and multi-year vision

- Defining and shipping new subscriber benefits that meaningfully upgrade the experience, partnering across the company
- Working directly with developers and creators to build developer-led subscription offerings
- Building and running a rigorous growth experimentation program with high statistical and decision-making standards
- Owning subscription metrics and business impact, from subscriber penetration and retention cohorts through to bookings, communicating results to executive leadership
- Setting product standards for the broader team, mentoring other PMs, and raising the quality of strategy, writing, and execution
The role reports to the Sr. Director Product, Monetization and Payments and is based in San Mateo, CA with onsite presence Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (optional Monday and Friday).
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience with deep expertise in consumer subscription and growth products
- Experience operating at principal or staff level: setting direction for large cross-company initiatives and driving them through teams you do not own
- Deep growth experimentation expertise including A/B testing methodology, funnel analysis, cohort and lifecycle measurement, and understanding test limitations
- Technical approach: ability to delve into product, platform, and implementation details and engage engineering on scalable, extensible solutions
- Data-driven approach: proficiency identifying, defining, tracking, and acting upon metrics; working with engineering and analytics on instrumentation and monitoring
- Exceptional written and verbal communication: ability to convey strategy at high level and produce clear, detailed product specifications
- Experience with marketplace, platform, or creator-economy products, or subscriptions in two-sided ecosystems (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technical, business, or related field
