AlphaSense is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the integration of two major new product launches into its platform, following the 2024 acquisition of Tegus. The Financial Data content organization is responsible for curating structured data and building financial models. This role sits at the intersection of complex data architecture, user workflows in capital markets, and cross-functional execution.
You will create the framework for zero-to-one product development from initial data analysis through launch, including user stories, product milestones, roadmaps, and supporting other PMs in detailed PRD creation. You'll work alongside domain experts with deep capital markets and investment research experience to understand user pain points, validate hypotheses, and inform prioritization. Acting as the primary bridge between sophisticated analytical workflows and technical execution, you'll translate complex user needs into robust data architectures while partnering with platform teams (Web, Excel, AI) to ensure seamless data delivery.
You'll partner with Directors to manage resourcing, reporting, and milestone tracking across both major projects. You'll mentor and coach product managers to elevate functional excellence and build high-performing teams. You'll articulate core client problems and collaborate with engineers to validate solutions based on customer feedback, strategic objectives, market analysis, and technical feasibility. You'll monitor industry trends, analyze competing content sets, interact with customers to gather feedback, and communicate complex ideas persuasively across departments to drive alignment and impact.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 12+ years of product management experience, including several years in fintech, investment research, or financial services
- Proven track record managing complex products with many moving parts; strong ability to make difficult trade-off decisions and sequence development under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with Notion and Linear
- Data fluency: comfortable using SQL, LLMs, or both to query complex datasets, audit for quality, and translate technical findings into user value (asset)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business; MBA or CFA designation preferred
