True Link Financial is a profitable, mission-driven fintech company serving people whose needs go unmet by traditional institutions—people with disabilities, older adults, people in recovery, and their families and caregivers. The company has earned recognition on the Forbes Fintech 50 and Inc. 5000 list for two consecutive years. You will join as Principal Product Manager, a senior individual contributor role leading product strategy and execution for the company's bank and card partnership-based capabilities. You'll shape offerings delivered to Family Banking partners and their account holders, balancing customer needs, partner requirements, technical constraints, regulatory considerations, and business strategy. Key responsibilities include: - Owning product areas related to the card and family banking partner ecosystem, driving both near-term execution and long-term strategy - Working directly with bank partners and sophisticated external clients to understand needs, define value propositions, solve problems collaboratively, and scale partnership opportunities into products and systems - Building full-stack fintech products spanning customer experience, operational workflows, APIs, payment rails, and partner infrastructure - Partnering deeply with engineering, design, operations, compliance, customer support, and go-to-market teams to ensure high-quality execution and shipping - Using AI, prototyping, data, and customer conversations to accelerate learning and compress feedback loops - Bringing clarity to ambiguity, navigating competing priorities and operational complexity while keeping the organization focused on what matters most - Leading through influence, judgment, and execution rather than formal authority - Going deep into execution when needed—refining edge cases, writing clear specs, improving processes, and unblocking teams The role sits at the intersection of banking, payments, operations, compliance, and deeply human customer needs, requiring rigor, judgment, and exceptionally strong cross-functional thinking. You'll work with a team that operates with startup pace, financial services rigor, and mission-driven focus. The company maintains small offices in San Francisco and Kingston, NY, but the majority of the team works remotely across the US, with in-person team gatherings organized periodically. Requirements: - 10+ years of product management experience with deep fintech expertise and strong instincts about how financial products work in the real world - Preference for individual contributor work; you want to stay close to the work—solving problems, shipping products, refining systems, collaborating directly with teammates and customers - Ability to move fluidly between big-picture strategy and nitty-gritty implementation details in complex, fast-moving environments with many stakeholders and competing constraints - Strong external partner and internal stakeholder management skills—thoughtful, credible, low-ego, able to build trust quickly across diverse audiences - Technical curiosity and architectural literacy; you want to understand how systems work underneath the product, not just surface-level features - Motivation driven by customer impact, execution, and building excellent products rather than status or empire-building - Comfort working in ambiguity and complexity, with ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to difficult cross-functional problems - Deep curiosity, intellectual honesty, and evidence-driven mindset; comfortable changing your mind when facts change - Excitement about building infrastructure and products that genuinely improve people's financial lives - Beneficial but not required: experience in operations, strategy, management consulting, or other highly analytical and cross-functional environments
