Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy and compute layer powering the world's most demanding AI workloads. The company owns and operates the full stack from power generation through cloud services, with a mission to solve the energy bottleneck constraining AI compute scaling. As Principal Product Manager for AI Infrastructure (Storage), you will own the long-term architecture and technology strategy for Crusoe's storage foundation. This is a foundational role operating at the peer level with senior infrastructure engineers and architects, responsible for multi-year decisions that determine whether the storage platform scales sustainably. Key responsibilities include: defining the 2-4 year vision and roadmap across block, file, object, local NVMe, and archival storage tiers; owning the long-term storage architecture and hierarchy; managing vendor strategy and relationships to maintain cost competitiveness and technical leadership; setting performance and durability targets including cost per usable TB and capacity efficiency; identifying structural limitations in current architecture and prioritizing long-term investments; partnering with Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture on major technical tradeoffs; and actively scouting emerging storage technologies and vendors. You will translate future workload, fleet, and customer requirements into infrastructure requirements, and represent storage foundations in leadership reviews. The role requires deep technical credibility in cloud storage architectures at hyperscale, vendor management experience, and the ability to communicate complex technical tradeoffs to both engineering leadership and executives. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field; 8+ years of technical product management or product-minded infrastructure engineering with architecture-level outcomes at Principal scope, specifically in cloud storage or related infrastructure; subject matter expertise in storage with credibility to operate as peer to senior engineers; strong technical understanding of block, file, and object storage at hyperscale; experience managing long-term vendor strategy; grasp of infrastructure economics at scale; analytical mindset; and exceptional communication skills. Bonus qualifications include AI/ML infrastructure experience, high-performance storage networking (RDMA, GPUDirect Storage), major cloud provider experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), and experience managing or mentoring product managers.
