Constant Contact is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategic evolution of their AI Assistant—a core platform capability that helps small business owners create emails, generate social posts, analyze data, and grow their businesses. This is a high-impact role where you'll own the full product lifecycle: defining features, managing prioritization, driving execution with engineering and design partners, and positioning the AI Assistant as the industry-leading marketing companion.
Key responsibilities include leading the strategic roadmap for the AI Assistant as a core platform capability; owning the full product lifecycle from conception through execution; driving adoption and engagement metrics by understanding SMB workflows and removing friction; partnering cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and customer success to articulate value and competitive differentiation; defining success metrics and building the business case for AI investments; mentoring other PMs on AI building best practices; and representing the AI Assistant vision in company strategy sessions.
You'll need 8+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years owning AI or ML-powered products in production. You should have a proven track record of taking products from "good" to "best in class" in competitive categories, not just shipping features. A bias for shipping and learning fast over perfecting before launch is essential. You have deep intuition for SMB customers—understanding their constraints, workflows, and what "good enough" means for them.
You're comfortable operating at the intersection of LLMs, UX, and business outcomes; you don't need to write the models, but you understand how they work and where they break. You have strong opinions on what makes AI products feel magical versus gimmicky, and can articulate that clearly to engineers and executives. You're a data-driven decision maker who can dive deep into analytics to understand why things work or don't. Experience leading or mentoring other PMs is required—you make the team around you better. You can drive teams through uncertainty and high-stakes situations to achieve goals.
