Amplitude is a leading AI analytics platform serving over 4,700 customers including Atlassian, Burger King, NBCUniversal, and Square. The company helps product, data, and marketing teams analyze, test, and optimize user experiences using embedded AI agents. You will lead the product strategy for Amplitude's AI Agents and Model Context Protocol (MCP) surfaces as a Principal Product Manager. This is a high-impact individual contributor role on a small, fast-moving team called Agentic Amplitude, which has already shipped the Amplitude Global Agent, Custom agents, and MCP capabilities. Key responsibilities include: - Define 12-24 month strategy and investment priorities for agents and MCP surfaces - Own the product vision for how AI agents help customers gain insights faster, make confident decisions, and improve their products - Advance MCP capabilities so customers can interact with Amplitude from coding agents, CLIs, IDEs, and the UI - Create evaluation frameworks, quality standards, and feedback mechanisms to measure customer value - Conduct regular customer research to understand workflows and identify new agentic use cases - Partner with field organization to enable positioning, demos, and support of AI agent products - Establish best practices internally and with customers as a thought leader on agentic products Success is measured by a clear, inspiring agent/MCP strategy that leadership and field can articulate; increased adoption of existing agents and new agentic products addressing emerging needs; and broad MCP adoption in customer workflows outside the Amplitude UI. Required qualifications: 7+ years product management experience including 0-to-1 products; 3+ years building AI/ML products with recent hands-on agentic product delivery; fluency in LLM trends, models, tools, context management, latency, eval methods, and failure modes; experience building systems that measure probabilistic product improvement; demonstrated execution on complex initiatives with engineering and design; comfort with ambiguity and rapidly evolving roadmaps; consistent track record of ambitious goal-setting and disciplined execution.
