FloQast is seeking a Principal People Business Partner to serve as the strategic lead HR resource for the R&D organization. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to the CTO, SVP of Product, and R&D leadership, bridging technical product strategy with human capital initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting people systems and organizational structures that enable high-performing technical teams
- Developing and executing talent strategies aligned with product roadmap and business growth
- Building and managing the leadership pipeline within R&D
- Advising on organizational design, team composition, and talent acquisition for technical roles
- Partnering on cultural initiatives specific to engineering and product environments
- Serving as a strategic thought partner on people-related challenges in a high-growth, technical context
You will need deep fluency in software development lifecycles, experience navigating the unique dynamics of engineering-heavy organizations, and a track record of translating business strategy into people initiatives. This is not a transactional HR role—you will be designing the systems and strategies that allow technical talent to thrive at scale.
The role requires 3 days per week in-office presence in San Jose, with potential flexibility based on business needs. Visa sponsorship is not available.
