Redis is seeking a Principal Manager of Communications & Developer Influence to lead corporate communications strategy as the company expands its position as a real-time agentic platform. This senior individual contributor role owns the full spectrum of communications—from PR and media relations to thought leadership, executive visibility, influencer programs, and social media strategy. You will develop and execute Redis' corporate communications strategy to increase brand awareness, strengthen reputation, and support product launches and company growth. Key responsibilities include driving proactive media relations with top-tier technology and business journalists, partnering with executives on thought leadership and speaking opportunities, and leading communications around major corporate milestones and product announcements. A critical part of this role is serving as the communications partner to Developer Marketing, owning the media, creator, and social amplification layer that ensures technical storytelling reaches the right audiences. You'll build and manage an influencer program targeting independent engineers, open-source maintainers, technical YouTubers, and newsletter writers who shape enterprise technology conversations. You'll own Redis' social media function across LinkedIn, X, and emerging platforms, manage PR agency relationships with measurable KPIs, and serve as a trusted advisor to executives on messaging strategy. You'll collaborate across marketing, developer relations, customer marketing, and executive leadership to ensure consistent messaging and monitor industry trends to proactively position Redis within key market conversations. This role requires 8+ years of corporate communications or PR experience in B2B technology, with proven success securing meaningful earned media coverage and building relationships with top-tier journalists. You should have experience developing communications strategies for high-growth SaaS, cloud infrastructure, AI, or developer tools companies, and a strong understanding of today's media landscape including traditional media, newsletters, podcasts, and technical creator communities. Excellent writing and storytelling skills, ability to translate complex technical concepts, demonstrated influence with senior executives, and experience managing integrated communications programs with measurable business outcomes are essential.
