Ibotta, a leading performance marketing platform and NYSE-listed company headquartered in Denver, is seeking a Principal Learning Consultant to design and execute its leadership development strategy. This senior individual contributor role reports to the SVP of Talent Management and partners closely with HRBPs and senior business leaders to build leadership capability across the organization. Key responsibilities include designing and running Ibotta's leadership development strategy, including cohort programs, leadership intensives, and skill-building initiatives tied to the company's leadership behaviors. You will lead offsites, team effectiveness sessions, and leadership cohorts spanning managers through executive audiences, personally facilitating rather than delegating. The role involves selecting and administering 360 feedback, DiSC, or comparable assessment instruments, then coaching leaders through results. You'll work with HRBPs to identify leadership gaps and build targeted acceleration plans for key talent, and serve as an expert resource when HRBPs encounter complex team dynamics or organizational questions. You will design programs across multiple modalities—instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, and AI-enabled—for a hybrid workforce of approximately 1,000 employees. Additional responsibilities include managing vendor relationships and LMS operations. Required qualifications: 8+ years in learning and development with at least 3 years focused on manager and senior leader populations. Previous people management experience is essential (though this role has no direct reports, firsthand management experience is critical to credibility and effectiveness). You must demonstrate proven ability to design and personally facilitate programs, operate as an OD practitioner or internal consultant, and be skilled with DiSC, 360 feedback, or comparable tools. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred. You should be a clear, direct communicator who builds credibility quickly with senior leaders, comfortable working independently from strategy through execution, and familiar with LMS platforms and eLearning tools like Articulate or Captivate. The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in Denver. Relocation assistance is available for candidates outside the Denver area. Ibotta offers competitive pay, flexible time off, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision), an Employee Stock Purchase Program, 401k match, paid parking, snacks, and occasional meals.
