The Principal HR Business Partner is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. This is a strategic HR leadership position focused on partnering with senior business leaders to execute people strategies that enable organizational performance, scalability, and sustainable growth. Key responsibilities include: - Providing strategic HR advisory to senior leaders on complex organizational, workforce, and talent challenges, influencing business decisions through commercially informed recommendations - Leading workforce planning, organizational design, and post-merger workforce integration initiatives - Independently managing complex employee relations matters while maintaining expert knowledge of employment legislation and regulatory frameworks - Designing and implementing scalable people programs that strengthen organizational capability and business performance - Leveraging workforce analytics and organizational data to inform decision-making and support evidence-based HR strategy - Supporting organizational transformation and change management initiatives - Advising on performance management, career development, succession planning, and leadership enablement - Ensuring alignment with global HR frameworks while accommodating local employment requirements across multiple jurisdictions The role requires deep business acumen combined with HR expertise. You will apply organizational design principles, workforce planning methodologies, and talent management best practices to support the company's growth and evolution. This is a hybrid position with one day per week in the Montreal office.
