Tennr is a healthcare operations platform that automates the complex insurance referral and prior authorization workflows that slow patient access and provider reimbursement. The company uses proprietary models to handle the tedious administrative work that keeps patients waiting and providers overwhelmed, enabling health systems to get patients the right care at the right time. As Principal, Health Systems, you will own the full enterprise sales lifecycle for large integrated delivery networks and academic medical centers. This is a high-autonomy, senior individual contributor role focused on personally driving complex, multi-threaded sales cycles (6–12+ months) to close. Key responsibilities include: - Lead end-to-end enterprise sales motions from net-new prospecting through negotiation and close, breaking into large health systems without relying on inbound leads - Conduct deep discovery into clinical, operational, and financial workflows to build executive and board-level business cases - Map complex buying committees, manage competing stakeholder incentives, and shape evaluation frameworks to align diverse decision-makers - Negotiate high-value, multi-year enterprise agreements (typically seven-figure deals), maintain disciplined forecasting and win plans, and identify expansion pathways - Build and defend complex ROI models tied to enterprise-wide operational and revenue impacts You will work from Tennr's Hudson Square office in Manhattan 4 days per week, collaborating with a high-caliber team focused on reducing patient delays across the U.S. healthcare system. REQUIREMENTS: - 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, including proven success selling into large integrated delivery networks and academic medical centers - Demonstrated track record of personally closing seven-figure deals with 6–12+ month sales cycles and high stakeholder complexity - Proven ability to break into net-new enterprise accounts without heavy reliance on inbound leads - Strong executive presence and fluency with operational, financial, and clinical audiences; ability to adapt messaging while maintaining credibility - Experience building and defending complex ROI models tied to enterprise-wide operational and revenue impacts - Builder mindset with experience in startup or high-growth environments, combining autonomy with disciplined pipeline management
