Kraken, one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms with over 10 million users, is seeking a Principal Business Operations professional to drive operational excellence across the Pro division. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and cross-functional coordination, supporting leadership in scaling the organization.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining operating rhythms, reviews, and forums that keep the Pro organization aligned on priorities. You will lead and deliver cross-functional projects that span multiple teams but are critical to Pro's success, from early concept through execution. You'll support leadership decision-making by framing complex issues, tracking KPIs, and surfacing gaps or risks early. The role involves maintaining systems for reporting, business reviews, roadmap coordination, and cross-team initiatives.
You will partner with leadership to scope and stand up new initiatives across Spot, Margin, Derivatives, and Infrastructure products. You'll contribute to high-impact materials including executive updates, all-hands presentations, and strategic memos that provide clarity and visibility. Acting as the first line of intake for inbound requests, you'll triage effectively and ensure accountability for follow-through.
The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of experience in Business Operations, Product Operations, Strategy, Consulting, or similar high-leverage roles with measurable impact. You should have strong project management skills, comfort with data and KPIs, and excellent communication abilities across executive and individual contributor audiences. You're highly organized, detail-driven, and biased toward execution. You're a self-starter who creates roadmaps when they don't exist and collaborates seamlessly across product, engineering, compliance, legal, finance, and marketing. Experience with crypto or fintech is valued but passion for Kraken's mission to accelerate financial freedom is essential.
