Kraken, one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms founded in 2011, is seeking a Principal Business Operations professional to drive operational excellence across the Pro organization. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and cross-functional coordination, reporting to Pro leadership.
You will build and maintain operating rhythms, reviews, and forums that keep the Pro org aligned on priorities and execution. You'll lead and deliver cross-functional projects that span multiple teams but are critical to Pro's success—from early concept through initial execution. You'll support leadership decision-making by framing complex issues, tracking KPIs, and surfacing gaps or risks early. This includes maintaining systems for reporting, business reviews, roadmap coordination, and cross-team initiatives.
Key responsibilities include partnering with leadership to scope and stand up new initiatives in Spot, Margin, Derivatives, or Infrastructure; contributing to high-impact materials (exec updates, all-hands, strategic memos) that provide clarity and visibility; acting as the first line of intake for inbound requests and ensuring accountability for follow-through; and identifying operational bottlenecks and proposing improvements to help the team scale efficiently.
You'll use business intelligence and data to support product managers and leadership across Pro, cutting through competing priorities to surface the best opportunities. You'll also partner with Compliance and Legal teams to find ways to improve product experience.
The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years in BizOps, Product Ops, Strategy, Consulting, or similar high-leverage roles with measurable impact. You have strong project management skills, can bring structure to ambiguity, and drive initiatives from 0 → 1. You're comfortable interpreting dashboards, KPIs, and financial/operational metrics to drive insight. You're an excellent communicator who adapts across audiences—from executives to individual contributors. You're highly organized, detail-driven, and biased toward follow-through and execution. You're a self-starter who creates the roadmap when one doesn't exist and has experience collaborating across product, engineering, compliance, legal, finance, and marketing.
