CesiumAstro is seeking a Principal Accountant (Financial Accounting Manager) to lead accounting operations and financial reporting activities. The role is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions in compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, internal controls, and government contracting requirements specific to the aerospace and defense sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing accounting operations and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Maintaining a strong internal control environment aligned with government contracting standards
- Supporting audit readiness as the company scales within a highly regulated aerospace and defense environment
- Partnering with cross-functional leaders across the organization
- Serving as a trusted accounting advisor to management on financial matters
