The company helps digitize industries representing over 40% of global GDP. As Pricing and Revenue Planner, you will support the Worldwide Planning team within the Operations organization. You'll partner cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Product, R&D, and other revenue-impacting teams to shape pricing strategy, customer willingness-to-pay outlook, and revenue pacing versus expectations. Key responsibilities include: - Manage pricing analytics and forecasting, projecting average sales prices and discounting levels by product group, geography, and sales segment to bridge unit forecasts and revenue targets. - Generate and own financial cost reporting metrics including hardware cash flow, projected spend, warranty expense, and excess/obsolescence risk in partnership with finance and accounting teams. - Synthesize data into actionable narratives and present findings to senior leadership across Operations, Finance, Sales, and Product. - Analyze customer and sales trends within product families to identify revenue and margin improvement opportunities. - Use technical expertise to gather new data, automate processing, and implement tools and best practices for data management. - Provide data access and KPIs to the planning team via reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker). - Establish deep understanding of Samsara's business, products, and priorities to support Demand Planners with insights on new programs, sales pacing, and conversion rates. - Drive forecasting process improvements through rigorous historical analysis and business knowledge. Ideal candidates have experience in SaaS pricing analytics and benchmarking, are curious learners, can drive new processes and tools, and excel at translating large data volumes into actionable insights. This remote role is open to candidates in Canada, Mexico, and the US (excluding SF Bay Area, NYC Metro, and Washington DC Metro).
