This is a net-new PMO Operations Lead role created to scale project management as the organization transitions from managing a handful of large projects to running many concurrent initiatives. The role will establish standardized planning frameworks, maintain a real-time portfolio view, and ensure consistent governance across the organization's growing project landscape.
Key responsibilities include: designing and implementing PMO processes and standards; building and maintaining a centralized project portfolio dashboard; establishing governance frameworks and escalation protocols; coordinating resource allocation across projects; tracking KPIs and reporting on portfolio health; mentoring and supporting project managers; and driving continuous improvement in project delivery practices.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of PMO or operations experience, ideally in a scaling tech or fintech environment. You should have demonstrated success building PMO functions from the ground up, strong stakeholder management skills, and proficiency with project management tools and methodologies. Experience with portfolio management, resource planning, and cross-functional coordination is essential. The role requires someone who can operate independently, think strategically about process design, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
