Rainforest is an early-stage payments-as-a-service startup enabling small-to-mid-sized software platforms to embed payments for their small business customers without operational or regulatory burden. The company is led by a repeat fintech founder and backed by a Top 10 VC firm.
As a Platform Success Manager, you will own the end-to-end client experience for platform partners, from initial integration through go-live and beyond. Your core responsibilities include:
- Guide platform clients through the complete integration lifecycle: setup, testing, deployment, and go-live
- Provide expert guidance on payment processing best practices, margin and revenue optimization, and adoption strategies
- Partner with clients to understand business goals, develop growth strategies, and serve as a trusted advisor for payments expansion
- Analyze client data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Advise on go-to-market strategies including product positioning, pricing, and messaging
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams
- Monitor and report on client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth metrics

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or related field, preferably in embedded payments
- Strong understanding of Payment Facilitator (PayFac-as-a-service) models for vertically-focused software platforms
- Deep knowledge of credit card processing, ACH processing, interchange, and interchange drivers
- Proven track record of growing embedded payments
- High customer EQ with ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Data-focused with creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
