OpenAI is seeking a Platform Product Partnerships Lead to drive strategic integrations connecting third-party services into OpenAI's flagship products, including Codex and ChatGPT. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, partnerships, and ecosystem strategy, with significant impact as users and AI agents increasingly interact with external services. You will lead the full lifecycle of partnerships—from identifying and prioritizing partners through negotiating complex commercial and technical agreements to driving partner success post-launch. Working directly with Product and Engineering teams, you'll shape how connectors, agents, and third-party workflows function within ChatGPT and Codex. You'll develop ecosystem relationships to deepen engagement across distribution, co-marketing, and product innovation. Key responsibilities include translating partner commercial needs and technical constraints into product recommendations and go-to-market plans, bringing structure to ambiguous opportunities, and deciding where to go deep, move fast, or decline. You'll drive aggressive timelines by clearing internal and external blockers and aligning cross-functional workstreams. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in product partnerships, product management, or developer relations, with demonstrated success structuring and negotiating complex deals. You should have excellent product and technical judgment, experience building ecosystems for emerging products, and strong relationship-building skills. The role demands self-direction, exceptional communication, structured thinking, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while collaborating closely with product and engineering leaders.
