Honor Technology is transforming aging care through technology and services that empower older adults to live independently. The company operates Home Instead, Inc., a global franchise network with 100,000+ Care Professionals delivering over 50 million hours of personalized in-home care annually. As a Business Development Advisor for the Chicago market, you will own referral demand generation within your territory as a single-threaded individual contributor. You will build and grow trust-based partnerships with healthcare and community referral sources—including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers, and senior living communities—that drive consistent, repeat client volume. Your core responsibilities include executing the full consultative sales process: prospecting, cold outreach, follow-ups, and developing tailored solutions aligned to referral partners' patient needs and organizational goals. You will spend approximately 75% of your time in the field across Greater Chicagoland, building credibility through consistent presence and value-based engagement. You'll maintain disciplined CRM hygiene in Salesforce, track activity and outcomes, and use data to diagnose performance gaps and refine strategy. Beyond traditional referral sales, you will support in-home consultations, care starts, and occasional after-hours needs to strengthen referral relationships and build credibility with partners and families. Success requires the ability to mobilize referral partners, create urgency, sustain momentum across complex healthcare environments, and demonstrate flexibility and resilience. Key results include sustained growth in qualified referral inquiries from priority partners, increased referral share from high-impact accounts, successful reactivation of dormant relationships, high-quality referrals that convert to scheduled consultations and care starts, consistent follow-through on commitments, and accurate documentation of activity and insights. This is a mission-driven role in a high-demand sector with a meritocratic culture that rewards performance. Compensation includes base salary plus uncapped commission, with an expected on-target earnings (OTE) of $110,000–$120,000.
