OLIX is building next-generation AI computing infrastructure to address the massive gap between AI demand and hardware supply. The company is architecting specialized accelerators (DX-1) for AI decode workloads, combining innovations in logic, data movement, packaging, optics, and interconnect to achieve step-change performance improvements. As Director of Planning & Purchasing, you will lead the end-to-end supply chain organization responsible for delivering materials and production schedules to support product launches and high-volume manufacturing. This is a strategic leadership role managing demand planning, supply planning, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics across a complex ecosystem of internal teams and contract manufacturing partners. Key responsibilities include: developing and executing demand, supply, and production plans aligned to customer demand and manufacturing capacity; leading purchasing activities to balance cost, inventory, and supplier performance; partnering with Global Supply Management, Manufacturing, and contract manufacturers to execute production plans and resolve material constraints; establishing scalable planning processes and ERP workflows that improve visibility and operational performance; and developing inventory and logistics strategies that optimize on-time delivery, inventory investment, and transportation costs. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Global Supply Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and external partners. Success requires balancing customer commitments, inventory levels, cost targets, and manufacturing performance while scaling operations to support rapid growth. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; 12+ years of leadership experience in Planning, Purchasing, or Supply Chain within electronics or advanced manufacturing; at least 5 years leading teams; deep expertise in demand planning, supply planning, purchasing, inventory management, logistics, ERP/MRP systems, and S&OP; proven experience implementing end-to-end ERP/MRP solutions from the ground up; track record enabling successful product launches and high-volume manufacturing; demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional execution; and exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills. Nice-to-have qualifications include a Master's degree, Lean Six Sigma experience, and supply chain certifications (CSCP, CPIM).
