Hims & Hers, a leading public health and wellness platform (NYSE: HIMS), is seeking a Pharmacist SME for Pharmacy Automation to lead and support the pharmacy team in a mail-order pharmacy environment in Mesa, Arizona. In this role, you will oversee all pharmacy dispensing automation within the facility and serve as the primary point of contact for operational support tickets escalated to automation vendors. You will partner with pharmacy leadership to train and develop pharmacists and technicians on automated dispensing systems, driving scalability and efficiency. Key responsibilities include analyzing prescription forecast data to optimize automation configurations and inventory placement, monitoring machine performance data to reduce downtime and maximize throughput, and coordinating with facilities maintenance on mechanical and electrical issues. You will collaborate on developing and reviewing standard operating procedures, ensure alignment between pharmacy and operations teams, and maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA requirements for protected health information. Additional duties include drug utilization reviews, medication label verification, patient counseling, and maintaining a clean, sanitary work environment per FDA standards. The role requires flexibility to work any shift in a 24/7 operation. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required (Doctorate/PharmD preferred) - 3+ years as a practicing pharmacist - 1+ years experience utilizing pharmacy automation - Mail service/mail order pharmacy experience - Active pharmacist license in Arizona or willingness to obtain upon hire - Effective knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations - Proficiency in English (verbal and written) and Windows-based computer systems - Ability to work flexible shift times and any shift in a 24/7 operation - Ability to stand for long periods and lift over 30 lbs safely and independently - Strong communication and teamwork skills
