Okta is seeking a Staff Product Manager for People Technology to lead the strategic vision and execution of the company's internal talent and employee growth ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of People Technology, you will serve as the product leader for a complex, multi-platform domain spanning Talent Acquisition (Greenhouse), Learning & Development (Cornerstone), Talent Management (Workday), and emerging AI-driven automation capabilities.
Your core responsibilities include defining multi-year product strategy and roadmaps for the Growth & Talent domain, translating executive vision into outcome-driven execution plans with clear ROI and business impact metrics. You will lead talent ecosystem modernization initiatives, building data-backed business cases for major platform upgrades and integrations across the ATS, LMS, and custom Workday Extend applications.
You'll partner closely with the Delivery Lead to translate business priorities into well-scoped epics and user stories, maintaining alignment on trade-offs, velocity, and milestones. Acting as the voice of the business within technical discussions, you will evaluate system integrations, data flows, and technical trade-offs while balancing user experience, operational risk, and long-term scalability.
A key focus area is defining strategy for AI and automation across the talent lifecycle—from sourcing and onboarding through learning and internal mobility. You will evaluate build vs. buy solutions, design human-in-the-loop workflows, and ensure enterprise-grade privacy and ethical AI standards.
You will drive global stakeholder alignment across Digital Solutions, distributed executive leadership, functional business leads, and US-based product counterparts, ensuring clear visibility, smooth change management, and high program adoption.
Required: 8+ years of product management experience leading internal enterprise platforms, enterprise HR/Talent systems, or complex B2B SaaS products at global scale. Deep domain expertise in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Performance/Talent Management processes, with hands-on familiarity with Greenhouse, Cornerstone, Workday Talent, or equivalent ecosystems. Proven ability to build data-backed investment cases, measure ROI, and translate business goals into multi-year strategies. Strong technical fluency and track record partnering with delivery teams on integrations and system design. Functional understanding of enterprise AI applications and automation frameworks.
