Salary: USD 120,000 - 150,000 / annual
Skydio, the leading US autonomous drone company, is seeking a People Systems Analyst to optimize and scale its Workday HCM ecosystem. In this role, you'll serve as a functional contributor and configuration specialist, focusing on core operational modules including Payroll, Time Tracking, and Time Off & Absence, while maintaining foundational knowledge of the broader HCM suite.
Key responsibilities include:
- System Configuration & Optimization: Act as a functional administrator supporting Workday configuration with deep expertise in Payroll, Time Tracking, or Time Off & Absence modules, while collaborating on Core HCM, Benefits, Talent, and Advanced Compensation.
- Reporting & Analytics: Design, build, and maintain custom Workday reports and complex calculated fields to deliver actionable data insights to stakeholders across the organization.
- Data & Mass Loads: Own data integrity by managing mass data updates, tenant configuration changes, and business process improvements using Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Finance, Payroll, IT, and internal People teams to troubleshoot issues, gather requirements, and deploy system enhancements.
- Release & Regression Testing: Assist in evaluating, testing, and implementing Workday's bi-annual releases, new features, and ongoing system patches.
- Support & Collaboration: Provide tier-2 support for system bugs, configuration updates, and end-user training alongside the internal HRIS team.
Required qualifications: 3+ years of hands-on Workday administration experience with strong functional understanding of at least one key focus area (Payroll, Time Tracking, or Time Off & Absence). Strong general knowledge of Core HCM, Benefits, Talent & Performance, and Advanced Compensation. Proven experience building custom Workday reports, utilizing advanced calculated fields, and executing data loads via EIBs. Exceptional problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and passion for data integrity. Strong communication abilities to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves include exposure to Workday Studio, Integrations, or Workday Extend, and experience in fast-paced, high-growth technology or manufacturing environments.
