Salary: USD 218,592 - 286,902 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking a People Strategy Lead to join its People Strategy team in New York. This role reports to the VP of People Strategy and HR and leads a team of Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) to drive talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement initiatives across the organization.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives to foster a high-performing culture and ensure effective HR service delivery across all business units. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to set vision and serve as the single People strategy point of contact for the Insurance organization. You will lead initiatives to define team objectives, create goal-setting frameworks, and drive the talent strategy agenda across multiple lines of business while maintaining focus on employee voice.
You will provide guidance on business reorganization, workforce planning, and succession planning. Working closely with centers of excellence (Recruiting, Total Rewards, Talent Management), you will identify improvement opportunities and partner with management and employees to enhance work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. The role includes identifying training needs, providing executive coaching and mentoring across the organization, and leading a high-performing People Strategy team.
Requirements include 12+ years in People team functions, 7+ years leading teams to successful outcomes, and 5+ years of analytical and problem-solving skills. Bonus qualifications include HealthTech, InsurTech, or Managed Care industry experience, public company leadership experience, and SHRM or related certifications.
The position is hybrid, based in the New York City office, requiring 3 days in-office per week with Thursdays as a mandatory in-office day for team meetings and events.
