Salary: USD 126,260 - 162,000 / annual

Roblox is seeking a People Science & Learning Associate to join the People Science & Analytics team within the People, Places, & Systems group. This role supports the optimization of the talent lifecycle through data-driven competency development, learning interventions, and evidence-based people strategies. You will work alongside experienced behavioral scientists and data experts, reporting to the People Scientist Manager. In this role, you will contribute to applied research projects focused on job analysis, assessment design, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness. You will assist in collecting, organizing, and cleaning data from surveys, interviews, and other sources to ensure high-quality research inputs. Your responsibilities include supporting qualitative research activities such as running or documenting interviews and focus groups, coding and summarizing open-ended responses using structured rubrics, and helping evaluate and improve people-related tools and processes including assessments, surveys, and pilot programs. You will also locate and synthesize relevant academic and applied research to create concise summaries that support project design. A key part of your work involves designing and deploying data-driven learning programs and technical content that address specific competency gaps and organizational needs. You will leverage behavioral science principles to optimize learner engagement, improve knowledge retention, and enhance the effectiveness of development initiatives. Additionally, you will analyze learning outcomes and platform analytics to iterate on curriculum design and evaluate overall training effectiveness. You will collaborate across teams with People Scientists, engineers, and data specialists to ensure research and program efforts are well-executed. This is an ideal role for someone eager to begin a career in applied behavioral science, learn from experienced practitioners, and contribute to meaningful projects that shape how work gets done at a major technology company. **Requirements:** - Master's degree required in Behavioral Science, Learning Science, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field emphasizing human behavior, instructional design, and organizations - Foundational knowledge of research design and analysis, with exposure to both qualitative and quantitative methods - Familiarity with job analysis, performance measurement, surveys, and program evaluation - Comfort working with data and spreadsheets; curiosity about learning new tools and methods - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in research and documentation - Clear, organized communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in team settings - Comfort working in dynamic, technology-driven environments and partnering with cross-functional teams - Strong curiosity, adaptability, and growth mindset with motivation to learn and continuously improve - Proficiency in instructional design and familiarity with e-learning platforms or digital learning tools - Strong ability to analyze learning metrics, performance trends, and research data to drive curriculum improvements
