Salary: USD 146,000 - 180,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities with advanced AI and autonomy, is seeking a Senior Technical Hardware Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for its Quality Control and Inspection Engineering organizations. This is a hands-on role partnering closely with Quality and Manufacturing leadership to define hiring needs, influence process improvements, and build a world-class Quality team.
You will drive hiring strategy end-to-end for Quality Control and Inspection roles, acting as a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques, Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and candidate management systems. Key responsibilities include conducting high-volume interviews with strong conversion ratios, sourcing passive candidates (quality inspectors, metrology technicians, quality engineers), building talent maps across Quality Control and metrology communities, and driving diverse talent into the organization. You will represent Anduril's brand internally and externally, leverage cross-functional partners to build value-proposition strategy, and ensure positive candidate experiences at every touchpoint.
This role offers autonomy and tools to execute, build, and develop talent acquisition processes for a lean, mission-driven team where no task is too big or small.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of full-cycle technical talent acquisition experience evaluating and hiring top-tier engineering and skilled-technical talent
- Demonstrated experience recruiting Quality Control and Inspection professionals (incoming/in-process/final inspection, CMM/metrology, GD&T, MRB, FAI/AS9102, NCR/CAPA, SPC)
- 3+ years of experience working with senior-level leaders and stakeholders, reporting on progress, and advising on talent strategies
- Experience recruiting in a fast-paced in-house environment (agency background a plus)
- Ability to work onsite/hybrid at Costa Mesa, CA
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience building a talent acquisition function from the ground up for a greenfield location
- Experience hiring into aerospace, defense, or other regulated/safety-critical industries with working knowledge of ITAR policies
- Familiarity with credentialing landscape for quality professionals (ASQ CQE, CQI, CQA, CQT; NDT Level II/III per NAS-410/SNT-TC-1A) and quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP, MIL-STD)
- Familiarity with trade schools, community colleges, apprenticeship programs, and employers producing skilled inspection and metrology talent
- Experience acting in a consultative manner with improved outcomes and positive candidate experiences
- Clear and effective communication with candidates to understand motivation and fit
- Experience managing high-volume candidate pipelines
