Algolia, a market leader in AI Search powering 30+ billion search requests weekly for 18,000+ businesses, is seeking a People Programs Manager to design and execute employee experience initiatives. You'll combine consultant-level thinking with operational discipline to identify friction in employee processes and design scalable solutions. The role focuses initially on three critical areas: onboarding, employee listening/insights, and engagement. Employee Listening & Insights: You'll own Algolia's employee listening strategy, including engagement surveys, pulse checks, onboarding feedback, and exit interviews. You'll transform raw feedback into actionable insights by identifying trends, combining quantitative data with qualitative themes, and developing clear narratives that help leaders move from data to action. You'll partner with People Business Partners and leaders to understand what drives the data, establish scalable listening processes, and create reporting and communication resources that make feedback useful rather than merely informational. Onboarding Experience: You'll own the end-to-end new hire journey from pre-boarding through day 90. You'll assess friction across systems, communications, learning, manager touchpoints, community, and workplace experiences. Working cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, People Ops, IT, Workplace, L&D, and business teams, you'll design experiences that build clarity, connection, confidence, and productivity. You'll establish clear ownership models and identify opportunities to simplify and automate while preserving human moments that matter. Process Design & Improvement: You'll evaluate existing employee experience processes, conduct discovery with employees and managers to understand lived experiences, and build scalable workflows with defined ownership, decision points, and success measures. You'll balance employee needs against business requirements and operational realities, translate strategy into practical execution, and establish feedback loops that continuously inform program evolution. This is a role for someone naturally curious about how things work and how they could work better. You'll shape strategy, lead programs from discovery through implementation, and continuously ask: What problem are we solving? What are employees actually experiencing? Where is friction? What does the data tell us?
