Brex is an intelligent finance platform enabling companies to spend smarter across 200+ markets. The company combines global corporate cards and banking with spend management, bill pay, and travel software. Tens of thousands of companies including DoorDash, Coinbase, Robinhood, and Zoom run on Brex.
The People team builds and sustains Brex's culture, focusing on talent, growth, and employee experience. As People Programs Lead, you will own the entire new hire journey end-to-end, serving as the primary host and first friendly face for onboarding. You'll blend operational excellence with engaging facilitation both in-office and remotely.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own global onboarding cohorts end-to-end: preboarding logistics, live onboarding sessions, first-90-days curriculum, and executive setups
- Partner cross-functionally with IT, Workplace, Recruiting, People Business Partners, and external partners to resolve edge cases and optimize programs
- Deliver quarterly performance recaps and strategic evolution proposals to People leadership, measuring efficacy through new hire surveys and completion analytics
- Maintain ongoing mentorship initiatives by pairing mentors, tracking feedback, and building documentation for sustained engagement
- Operate as a utility player across Brex's talent management portfolio, supporting employee engagement, rotational/mobility programs, learning & development, and performance programs
The role is based in the New York City office with a hybrid environment requiring a minimum of three coordinated days in-office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday). Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work is available.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on program management experience within Talent Management, People Operations, or L&D, ideally in a fast-paced tech environment
- Outstanding communication skills and passion for leading engaging, high-energy facilitation sessions both in-person and remotely
- Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes (IT, Workplace, Recruiting) and independently resolve ad-hoc operational scenarios
- Comfort pulling and analyzing both qualitative survey feedback and quantitative metrics to validate program health and drive iteration
- Proactive, "utility player" attitude with strong attention to detail and track record of driving initiatives independently
Bonus: Prior experience running a company-wide onboarding program; desire to stretch into broader Talent Management functions; thrives on novelty, autonomy, and challenge.
