Multiverse is Europe's first EdTech double unicorn, recently valued at $2.1bn following a $70m strategic funding round. The company delivers AI and tech upskilling apprenticeships to 1,500+ enterprise partners, with learners generating $2bn+ ROI for employers.
This role bridges People strategy with hands-on product management. You will own the vision, strategy, and quarterly roadmap for internal People Ops technology and platforms supporting ~1,000 employees across the full employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Define long-term vision and strategy for internal People Ops technology, including success measures and quarterly roadmaps
- Build scalable foundations across People systems (core HR platforms, integrations, data flows, identity, automation) supporting the employee lifecycle
- Make high-quality trade-offs across build/buy/integrate decisions, balancing UX, scalability, reliability, security, and compliance
- Lead through influence, aligning stakeholders across People, Engineering, Security, Compliance, Legal, Analytics, and Operations
- Improve employee productivity by simplifying processes and creating intuitive, reliable technology experiences
- Drive measurable impact by defining KPIs, learning from delivery, and continuously improving domain operations
Multiverse wants its own People team to operate on the same AI-native principles it sells to customers. This is about building systems—workflows, guardrails, tasks, constraints—rather than one-off fixes. The company values demonstrated capability over tenure: if you've built something tangible (a tool, process, or scaled system), bring it to the interview.
The role requires comfort with technology and automation, and a preference for product-led, scalable approaches over high-touch, service-led processes.
Workplace: Hybrid, with most roles collaborating in-office three days per week. Work-from-anywhere scheme allows up to 10 days per year remotely.
Requirements:
- 5+ years working in HR, technology, analytics, or operations
- Systems thinking: ability to design workflows, guardrails, constraints, and understand how parts fit together
- Strong track record of learning fast and applying it
- Demonstrated ability to build something real: a tool, process, or system you've scaled (portfolio/examples expected)
