Wave is building financial services to make Africa the first cashless continent. As a People Partner - Support, you'll partner with Wave's call center team in Senegal to execute strategic HR initiatives and drive organizational excellence.
You'll work closely with the Support department to align HR strategy with team OKRs, identifying talent development and organizational restructuring opportunities. You'll collaborate with Support Leads on performance management workflows, including regular feedback, 1:1 coordination, coaching, career growth conversations, OKR setting, performance evaluations, and PIP follow-up.
Key responsibilities include: conducting audits of sick time records and overtime submissions for policy compliance; managing employee tenure changes and BHR updates; maintaining accurate HR systems and employee records; processing work accommodation requests in collaboration with medical professionals; coordinating explanation letters; tracking HR metrics (attendance, compliance, process timelines); addressing absenteeism with solutions; supporting recruitment, onboarding, resignations, terminations, and exit interviews; and fostering employee engagement through recognition programs, team-building, and retention strategies.
You'll build positive relationships with team members, create a trust-based environment, and help implement organizational effectiveness improvements. The role requires fluency in English and French, a degree in HR or Labour Law, and minimum 5 years of HR management, recruitment, and employee experience. Work authorization in Senegal is required.
