Salary: USD 255,000 - 310,000 / annual
Anthropic is seeking an exceptional senior People Partner to support Product and Core Technology teams, specifically Engineering teams, based in Seattle or San Francisco. This role is critical to the People Partner team, working on key HR projects in alignment with Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, and other functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders across Product and Engineering teams, including senior technical leaders and executives
- Provide comprehensive support to employees and managers on human resource-related topics throughout their lifecycle at Anthropic, partnering with Benefits, Compensation, Performance, and other specialists
- Work closely with management to create a culture of high performance aligned with company values while managing performance management and employee relations issues appropriately
- Partner with specialist teams, leadership, and finance to implement scalable programs and policies that attract, retain, and develop outstanding talent
- Collaborate on cross-functional HR projects such as manager training and organizational development initiatives
- Support technical leaders on organizational design, team scaling strategies, and talent development initiatives specific to product and engineering organizations
- Develop and support career development frameworks and progression paths unique to technical roles
Minimum qualifications:
- Experience operating at a fast-growing tech company in HR with fluency in employment law and North American best practices
- Background in tech companies, startups, or similarly fast-paced environments
- Experience partnering with technical organizations and understanding product and engineering team dynamics
Preferred qualifications include 6+ years in HRBP, People Operations, Employee Relations, Recruiting, or related functions; specific experience supporting Product, Engineering, or Infrastructure teams; experience in AI/ML companies; understanding of technical career ladders and engineering culture; strong conflict resolution and confidential support skills; and genuine interest in AI safety and development.
