Teya is a Series C fintech company building a financial platform for local businesses across Europe. The company focuses on providing simple tools, thoughtful design, and genuine human support to SMBs—cafés, restaurants, salons, shops, and entrepreneurs—replacing clunky legacy financial services with modern solutions. You'll join as a People Partner supporting the UK commercial organization (Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, Field Operations) during a period of rapid regional scaling. This is a strategic HR role that bridges day-to-day people operations with business outcomes. Key responsibilities include: - Partner with UK commercial leaders on team effectiveness, people development, and workforce planning - Coach managers to build stronger feedback cultures and improve performance conversations - Own grassroots projects shaping the next generation of selling partners and building commercial capability - Use people data and insights to inform business decisions and identify capability gaps - Collaborate with the global People team on talent strategies for attraction, development, and retention - Identify future leaders and support succession planning for key roles - Deliver performance, compensation, and engagement cycles for the UK commercial org - Handle employment relations cases (performance, absence, disciplinaries, grievances) with sound judgment and UK employment law expertise - Align structure, incentives, and headcount plans with Finance, Sales Ops, and Reward teams - Champion Teya's culture and values in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment The role recognizes that the commercial team is often Teya's first point of contact with members, so supporting their development directly impacts member experience and business growth. You'll balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking as the organization scales.
