Salary: USD 170,000 - 190,000 / annual
Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America, combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing to help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost. The company recently raised $1.37B in Series D funding at a $7.87B valuation and is rapidly expanding manufacturing capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, and additive manufacturing.
As a People Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, enabling both people and business to perform at their highest levels. This is an embedded, strategic HR role supporting a complex and diverse workforce spanning highly specialized engineers, hourly skilled trades, and operational leaders. You will work closely with leadership across functions to drive performance, build strong teams, and develop systems that support both human and operational needs.
Key responsibilities include: acting as a trusted advisor to align people strategies with business goals; proactively managing and resolving employee relations issues with discretion and compliance focus; supporting performance management cycles and employee development frameworks tailored to diverse workforce needs; equipping managers with tools, training, and guidance to lead teams from engineering to the shop floor; championing employee engagement and accountability initiatives; supporting organizational transitions such as reorgs and leadership changes; interpreting and applying people policies fairly across sites and shifts; and partnering with People Ops and Recruiting on scalable programs.
You will also lead organizational design and change management, workforce planning and talent strategy, performance and compensation cycles including calibration and promotion planning, and partner with legal on employee relations cases. This role requires moving fluidly between strategic and tactical work, with deep understanding of exempt and non-exempt employee needs in a regulated, high-integrity environment.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of relevant HR industry experience; experience supporting both exempt and non-exempt populations, ideally in manufacturing, engineering, or high-compliance environments; ability to thrive in dynamic environments with diverse employees and evolving business needs; understanding of business drivers and how people programs impact operations and culture; discipline in processes, documentation, and compliance; ability to navigate sensitive conversations with empathy and maturity; clear communication skills for both desk-based and hourly employees; sound judgment on complex people issues; and strong stakeholder relationship-building skills.
