Customer.io is seeking a People Partner to support its global team across the United States in a remote capacity. This role is ideal for an HR professional with 5+ years of progressive experience who is ready to deepen their impact as a strategic business partner.
As a People Partner, you will serve as an advocate for the organization's people, leveraging expertise in data analytics, change management, and organizational development. You'll work alongside cross-functional leaders to enhance the company's transformation, agility, and efficiency while delivering meaningful outcomes for both employees and the business.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting business alignment by partnering with departmental leaders to understand needs and develop plans that build organizational capabilities and support growth
• Owning performance management cycles end-to-end, including annual and bi-annual reviews, calibration, compensation decisions, and coaching managers on talent development
• Managing employee relations by guiding managers and employees through day-to-day concerns with fairness and sound judgment
• Assessing team structures and working with leaders to identify and implement organizational improvements
• Supporting organizational change efforts and building change-readiness across teams
• Building strong relationships with managers to provide strategic partnership and guidance aligned with business goals
• Analyzing People metrics and analytics to identify trends and support data-driven decisions
• Rolling out employee engagement and development initiatives
• Contributing to the broader People Experience team to strengthen HR capabilities
You should be a self-starter with strong communication and presentation skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a growth mindset. Experience as an HRBP or People Partner supporting multiple teams is essential. You'll need demonstrated expertise in organizational design, change management, performance management, DEIB, culture development, coaching, and people programs. Strong foundation in People data and analytics is particularly important. You must understand how to tailor programs and strategies to different organizational needs and be able to establish trust and credibility in a global environment.
