The People Operations Specialist will support the full employee lifecycle and serve as a key operational resource for the People team. This role bridges employee needs with HR processes, managing onboarding and offboarding, internal movements (promotions, transfers), leave administration, and payroll coordination. You'll maintain accurate employee records, support performance review cycles, and handle engagement surveys. As the primary employee support contact, you'll manage a service desk function via Jira and shared inboxes, responding to employee queries about systems, benefits, and policies. You'll build and maintain a knowledge base to enable self-service and drive efficiency. You'll monitor ticket resolution times, maintain SLA standards, and escalate complex issues appropriately. Data integrity and compliance are critical: you'll ensure employee data accuracy across systems, draft HR documentation (promotion letters, contract variations), support audit preparation, and maintain compliance with data protection standards. You'll also contribute to process improvements, assist with handbook updates, manage policy maintenance, and support the People team's projects to enhance automation and scalability. This is a fast-paced operational role requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle competing priorities while maintaining professionalism and discretion with sensitive information. KEY REQUIREMENTS: - Degree or minimum 2 years of experience in People Operations, HR Administration, or related field - Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, ideally covering EMEA and APAC regions (Greece, France, UAE, Singapore) - Experience with HR systems; BambooHR and Culture Amp experience is a strong advantage - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong digital literacy - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve issues effectively - Strong English communication skills (written and verbal); French language skills considered an asset - High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information - Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in fast-paced environments
