Trustpilot is a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company and the world's largest open customer review platform. This Director role owns the end-to-end lifecycle of executive talent, balancing external acquisition with internal development to ensure leadership teams are equipped for the next phase of scale. Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent, you will lead two critical priorities: (1) external executive search strategy and (2) internal executive succession and development. On the search side, you'll set the global strategy for how Trustpilot positions itself to attract top-tier talent capable of stepping into Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) roles, while empowering your direct report (TA Manager for Executive Hiring) to execute seamlessly. On the talent management side, you'll partner with People Business Partners to assess senior capability, build tailored succession plans, and ensure high-potential leaders are stretched, supported, and ready to step up. Key responsibilities include: setting global executive search strategy and positioning; guiding and developing the TA Manager (Executive Hiring) with autonomy while maintaining high standards; driving senior leadership capability and development through holistic partnership with People Business Partners; leading the annual Big Talent, Big Patch process; owning the Global Talent Review (GTR) for executive tiers to create visibility on succession pipelines; conducting targeted leadership assessments for incoming and internal talent; building succession plans for key roles with tailored development pathways; informing executive stakeholders and the Board with data-backed updates on leadership capability and talent pipelines; and managing executive talent budgets across search, development programs, and assessment tools. You are an executive search strategist with expertise in positioning roles and headhunting top-tier talent. You have a proven track record of building succession plans and conducting leadership assessments, with an instinctive ability to determine whether a leader needs a stretch assignment, targeted coaching, or more runway to develop. You are a trusted strategic partner who can have honest, actionable conversations with senior leaders about development and team futures without HR jargon. You are a pragmatic decision maker who articulates reasoning in plain, business-focused terms. You are an empowering people manager who guides and develops direct reports without micromanaging, giving them room to own execution while you drive overarching strategy. Trustpilot offers flexible working options, competitive compensation plus bonus, Restricted Stock Units, private medical insurance, critical illness cover, 25 days holiday (increasing to 28 after 2 years), two paid volunteering days annually, learning and development through Trustpilot Academy and Blinkist, pension and life insurance, health cash plan, online GP access, Employee Assistance Plan, Headspace access, paid parental leave, season ticket loan, cycle-to-work scheme, central London office with amenities, company events and ERG activities, access to 4,000+ deals and discounts, independent financial advice, and tailored leadership development programs. REQUIREMENTS: - Proven expertise in executive search strategy and headhunting top-tier talent - Demonstrated track record building succession plans and conducting leadership assessments - Ability to assess leadership potential and determine development needs (stretch assignments, coaching, runway) - Experience as a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders on talent and development matters - Pragmatic decision-making approach with business-focused reasoning - People management experience with ability to guide, develop, and empower direct reports - Experience managing talent budgets and optimizing spend across search, development, and assessment - Ability to deliver data-backed updates to executive stakeholders and boards on leadership capability and succession pipelines
