Enginy is a Barcelona-based AI-driven B2B sales and prospecting platform that recently raised €5 million in seed funding. We're seeking a People Operations Specialist to own the operational backbone of our employee lifecycle and People processes as we scale.
You will be the operational anchor for Enginy's lean People team, working alongside the Head of People, Talent Acquisition Partner, and Office Manager. Your core responsibilities include:
**Employee Lifecycle Management**: Execute all people operations—onboarding, contract changes, leaves, and offboarding—with accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation across systems.
**Payroll & Compliance**: Manage monthly payroll inputs and verification in collaboration with our Gestoria and Finance team, ensuring full compliance with Spanish labor regulations.
**People Policies & Process Improvement**: Develop, update, and communicate People policies to ensure clarity and adoption. Continuously enhance processes to improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
**Benefits & Employee Value Proposition**: Manage our current benefits offering and identify opportunities aligned with company culture as we grow.
**Systems & Data Ownership**: Own and improve our HRIS (Factorial) and knowledge base (Notion), ensuring clean data, clear documentation, and scalable processes.
**Learning & Development Support**: Coordinate training initiatives with focus on onboarding effectiveness and manager capability building.
**People Budget & Planning**: Support planning and monitoring of the People budget (benefits, tools, initiatives) for cost efficiency and strategic alignment.
This is a high-ownership role requiring someone detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable operating independently. You'll be a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on operational matters, removing friction and risk from People processes.
**Requirements:**
- Strong People Operations experience managing the full employee lifecycle (contracts, changes, leaves, offboarding) in a scaling company
- Solid understanding of Spanish labor regulations and experience working with a Gestoria on payroll and compliance, ideally in a company with 50+ employees
- Experience owning an HRIS (Factorial or similar) and maintaining documentation in tools like Notion
- Demonstrated operational ownership and reliability; known for accuracy and follow-through on sensitive, high-impact work
- Service mindset with professional boundaries; approachable and helpful while maintaining confidentiality and consistency
- Systems, process, and data mindset with focus on scalability and clean data
