Amplitude, a leading AI analytics platform serving over 4,700 customers including Atlassian, Burger King, and NBCUniversal, is seeking a People Operations Specialist based in London. This hands-on role supports the employee experience across the UK, EMEA, and APJ regions, managing day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle transactions. Key responsibilities include owning employee lifecycle transactions in Workday (new hires, job changes, departures) across multiple regions while maintaining accurate, audit-ready data. You'll serve as a first point of contact for employee and manager questions through ticketing systems, resolving routine requests and escalating complex issues appropriately. The role involves coordinating onboarding and offboarding logistics, including background checks and new hire setup, to ensure smooth transitions. You'll support international benefits programs and maintain compliance with local employment standards across the UK, EMEA, and APJ. Additional responsibilities include coordinating EMEA/APJ payroll with external providers, managing immigration and visa work in partnership with immigration counsel, and supporting visa sponsorship and travel logistics for regional offsites. You'll help document and improve People Operations processes, creating a consistent knowledge base for the team. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of HR, People, or operations support experience, preferably in fast-paced tech companies. You should be comfortable with employment laws across multiple regions, have strong familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday preferred), and understand background check and international benefits processes. You're detail-oriented, discreet with confidential data, and skilled at managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with AI tools, spreadsheets, and systems is essential, along with clear written communication and a reliable, organized approach. Right to work in the UK is required.
