Archy is a Series C vertical SaaS company revolutionizing dental practice management with AI agents and software that enables dentists to focus on patient care while the platform handles business operations.
You'll join as a People Operations Specialist, reporting to the VP of People, as the second hire on the People Operations team. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role focused on building scalable, efficient people processes as the company grows.
Key responsibilities include:
**Onboarding & Offboarding**: Own the new hire experience from offer acceptance through orientation, including communications, pre-boarding coordination, and leading onboarding sessions. Manage day-to-day people operations including payroll processing, employee changes, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee inquiries with high accuracy.
**Employee Support**: Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions about pay, benefits, policies, and people processes. Maintain clear, up-to-date FAQs, policy guides, and internal resources. Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
**IT & Systems Support**: Coordinate system access and equipment for new hires and departing employees, including laptop ordering and account provisioning/deprovisioning. Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems and troubleshoot basic access and systems issues in partnership with IT.
**Process Improvement & AI**: Partner with the VP of People to identify opportunities for AI and automation across people processes. Pilot and implement new tools and workflows. Support HRIS selection and implementation, including requirements evaluation, data migration, testing, and rollout. Proactively build scalable, repeatable processes that reduce manual work as the company scales.
This role thrives on attention to detail, strong communication, and comfort operating with ambiguity in a lean team environment. You'll have meaningful ownership in how the People Operations function evolves.
**Requirements:**
- 4+ years of People Operations, HR, or related experience, ideally in high-growth, early-stage startup environments
- Hands-on experience across core People Operations: onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee support, and HR systems
- Experience with HRIS platforms and people systems; HRIS implementation or migration experience is a plus
- Experience managing EOR (Employer of Record) relationships and coordinating onboarding/offboarding across the Americas
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with judgment and discretion for handling sensitive, confidential information
- Comfortable operating in a lean people team, managing competing priorities, and adapting quickly to changing needs
- Curious about AI and automation, motivated to simplify workflows and improve people operations efficiency
