Culture Amp is seeking a People Operations Partner to join their People Operations team in San Francisco. This role sits at the intersection of operational excellence and emerging technology, supporting the employee experience for hundreds of employees across Culture Amp's global offices.
You will own end-to-end employee lifecycle operations, managing onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, contract changes, and leave management across multiple jurisdictions. A key part of this role is co-creating AI-powered solutions with the People and Systems Analyst to modernize how People Ops functions—bringing operational expertise to tool design and owning deployment and iteration.
You'll support compliance and policy coordination by tracking training completion, maintaining jurisdiction-specific compliance checklists, and flagging anomalies. Data integrity is non-negotiable; you'll ensure HRIS data quality as the foundation for the team's AI outputs. Beyond day-to-day operations, you're expected to proactively identify process improvements—spotting manual, repetitive, or error-prone workflows and bringing forward clear problem statements and solutions.
This role requires 1–3 years in HR Operations, People Operations, or similar operational generalist work. You should have a demonstrated track record of building solutions to process problems (automation, tooling, systems) and comfort with automation or AI tools like Zapier, Make, Power Automate, ChatGPT, or Claude. HRIS platform exposure (Workday, BambooHR, or similar) is expected; BambooHR hands-on experience is a plus. Multi-jurisdiction exposure (AU, multi-state US, UK) is advantageous.
You're detail-oriented, data-driven, and a builder at heart—someone who sees inefficient processes and feels compelled to fix them. Culture Amp operates on a hybrid model, asking most employees to work from their local office an average of 2 days per week to unlock connection and culture.
