You will own end-to-end global equity operations for Airwallex, managing RSUs, ESOPs, and related programs across the full lifecycle—from grant and vesting through exercise, termination, and post-termination treatment. This is a strategic operations role requiring deep expertise in equity administration at scale.
Key responsibilities include: leading global employee equity program operations across multiple entities and regions; managing equity documentation, approvals, and records in partnership with Legal, Finance, Tax, and Total Rewards teams; maintaining high-quality equity data and reporting for business planning, audits, and regulatory compliance; strengthening operational controls and audit readiness; and supporting strategic equity initiatives including annual grants, liquidity programs, scheme transitions, and retention programs.
You'll provide clear support to employees and stakeholders, develop scalable self-service resources, and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate equity operations while maintaining governance and data integrity.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, HR, or related field; 6+ years professional experience including 3+ years in global equity administration at high-growth tech/fintech companies; demonstrated experience administering international equity programs (RSUs, options, ESOPs) across multiple jurisdictions; proficiency with HRIS and equity platforms; strong data processing and reconciliation skills; experience supporting employee queries with clear prioritization; comprehensive understanding of equity lifecycle and audit controls.
Preferred: experience at pre-IPO or late-stage companies including tender offers and scheme transitions; familiarity with global equity compliance structures and trusts; partnership experience translating policy changes into workflows; track record of process improvement and automation; comfort in high-growth environments requiring attention to detail and proactive communication.
