• Track, analyze, and present key People/HR metrics (onboarding sentiment, engagement survey results, retention trends) across the entire employee lifecycle to deliver actionable insights to People leadership.

• Maintain lightweight operational safeguards, run periodic audits, and ensure compliance across all HR processes and tool usage.
The role is based in New York with a hybrid schedule: in-office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; flexible remote work on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a tech startup in the People/HR space, or equivalent experience with strong project management and communications skills.
Desired qualifications:
• Broad foundational knowledge across core HR domains with ability to learn quickly and operate autonomously.
• Self-directed mindset with excellent time management; able to bring well-formed proposals forward independently while modeling healthy work-life boundaries.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with a track record of keeping operational details structured and error-free.
• Strong interpersonal skills enabling genuine connections, effective team collaboration, and deep understanding of employee needs.
• High ethical standards with ability to balance transparency with discretion when handling confidential information and sensitive issues.
• Active commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging with a drive to continuously learn and help educate others.
