Salary: USD 110,000 - 120,000 / annual
Thatch is seeking a People Operations Generalist to join their fully distributed, early-stage healthtech team. This role is a foundational position within the People Operations function, serving as a key touchpoint for employees throughout their lifecycle at the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage Thatch's complete onboarding program, including pre-boarding logistics, systems administration, day-1 sessions, and ongoing new hire support
- Maintain accurate employee records and data integrity within HR systems
- Coordinate onboarding calendars and ensure new hires feel welcomed and supported
- Handle employee verifications, E-Verify compliance, and maintain confidential employee files
- Manage People-related compliance matters including benefits administration, 401(k) management, and support employees through organizational changes
- Collaborate with the Head of People and broader People team on special projects and strategic initiatives
Required Background:
- 3+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or related administrative roles
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Sound judgment when addressing challenges
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HRIS platforms, particularly Rippling
- People-first mindset with genuine interest in creating positive employee experiences
- Excellent customer service orientation
