LemFi is a Series B fintech company building a financial platform for the Global South, helping immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth. With 400+ employees across 20+ countries and processing over $1B in monthly transactions, the company is scaling rapidly.
As People Operations Coordinator, you will be the operational backbone of the global people function, owning core processes that keep the organization running smoothly while ensuring compliance across all markets. This is a hands-on, broad role in a fast-changing environment where you'll build scalable processes rather than just maintain existing ones.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning core people operations processes: onboarding, offboarding, contracts, probation management, background checks, right-to-work verification, and leave/absence management
- Managing HRIS data integrity, maintaining accurate records, running audits, and building workflows and automations to reduce manual admin work as the company scales
- Administering benefits programs including enrollment, changes, and employee queries
- Owning and maintaining content for the company's AI HR bot to provide employees with fast, accurate self-serve answers, and championing new AI tools for the people function
- Serving as the go-to support for employee questions and managing the Jira ticketing system
- Supporting people-related projects, including an upcoming HRIS implementation
- Producing people metrics and reporting to give the business visibility into organizational health
You should have 2+ years in people operations or HR generalist roles, ideally with multi-country experience. You're comfortable in fast-paced, ever-changing environments, juggling multiple workstreams simultaneously. You have a track record of improving or automating processes with an eye toward scalability, and you're proficient with modern HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate, structured data.
Experience in high-growth, multi-country startup environments and HRIS implementation or migration experience are nice-to-haves.
