Dyna Robotics is seeking a People Operations Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for employees navigating their employment journey. This hands-on, detail-oriented role is based onsite in Redwood City and suits someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building processes. You will own the complete mechanics of employee onboarding, ensuring new hires arrive with all necessary paperwork, equipment, and account provisioning completed. You'll manage offboarding with equal care, handling exit documentation, equipment returns, and system deprovisioning. As the company scales, you'll continuously refine both workflows to maintain a quality experience. In the employee lifecycle domain, you'll process changes accurately—promotions, transfers, compensation updates, and role changes—while maintaining compliant employee records in the HRIS. You'll administer required trainings including harassment prevention and safety compliance, tracking completion across the organization. You'll be the approachable resource for employee questions on policies, benefits, payroll, time and attendance, and general HR matters. You'll maintain and update internal resources to enable self-service where possible, reducing friction in day-to-day operations. Dyna Robotics makes general-purpose robots powered by proprietary embodied AI that generalizes across varied environments with commercial-grade performance. The company has raised over $140M from top investors including CRV, First Round Capital, Salesforce Ventures, Amazon, Samsung Next, and LG Technology Ventures. The team includes engineers and researchers from Google, Meta, Apple, Amazon, Cruise, Aurora, and NVIDIA, with academic roots at Stanford, Berkeley, MIT, and UPenn. This position requires 1-3+ years in People Operations, HR, or similar coordinator roles. You'll need strong organizational skills to manage multiple processes and deadlines, high attention to detail with sensitive data, comfort with ambiguity, and a builder's mindset. Proficiency with HRIS platforms and G Suite is essential. Startup experience and hands-on familiarity with platforms like Ashby, Rippling, Gusto, or BambooHR are bonuses. Full-time onsite presence in Redwood City is required; hybrid and remote options are not available.
