Data.ai (formerly Sensor Tower) is seeking a People Operations Business Partner to join their Seattle office. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that combines frontline employee relations casework with broader people program delivery.
You will own complex employee relations matters end-to-end, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally sound outcomes across a global workforce spanning AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions. You'll partner directly with managers to coach on performance management, feedback delivery, and difficult conversations. A key responsibility is building deep multi-jurisdiction employment law knowledge and working with PEOs, external counsel, and local advisors to navigate compliance across different geographies.
Beyond casework, you'll contribute to talent calibration, role design, performance review cycles, and training program rollout. You'll use people data to identify trends and recommend practical solutions, advise on retention actions (pay adjustments, promotions, recognition), and provide clear HR policy guidance in collaboration with legal. The role includes supporting contractor and non-employee populations and leveraging AI tooling to increase efficiency in casework, drafting, and analysis.
Ideal candidates bring progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines (operations, compensation, organizational design, L&D, employee relations, inclusion, performance management). You should have demonstrated success supporting international teams with practical awareness of local employment laws, strong experience resolving complex employee relations issues in fast-scaling or tech environments, and the ability to build trusted relationships with leaders in high-tension situations. Fluency with modern HRIS/ATS platforms (HiBob, Deel, Ashby) and exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment are essential.
