ElevenLabs is a $11B AI research and product company that has raised $781M from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ Growth, and Sequoia. The company launched in January 2023 with a human-like AI voice model and now serves millions of users and thousands of businesses including Deutsche Telekom and Meta. The company operates three main platforms: ElevenAgents (for deploying voice and chat agents at scale), ElevenCreative (for generating and editing speech, music, image, and video across 70+ languages), and ElevenAPI (providing access to AI audio foundational models).
This is a hands-on builder role in People Operations and HRIS, designed for someone who wants to design and run programs that shape how people grow, lead, and perform at ElevenLabs. You will own the full People Operations and HRIS surface, including talent management (performance, onboarding, learning & development, succession planning, internal mobility), organizational design, engagement (recognition, enablement, change management), and compensation strategy.
You'll work closely with People Partners and business leaders to build practical, high-signal programs designed to scale in a high-velocity environment. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who has built these programs before in fast-growing companies, has sharp opinions on what good looks like, and is energized by doing the work rather than directing it.
Key responsibilities include designing and running People Ops and HRIS end-to-end, going from blank page to shipped program without a large team beneath you, building manager and lead enablement programs based on what works in practice, designing compensation and benchmarking strategies for complex, fast-shifting markets, and operating globally across time zones and geographies.
ElevenLabs operates with a high-velocity, impact-driven culture emphasizing rapid experimentation, lean autonomous teams, minimal bureaucracy, and AI-first approaches across the entire company. The company offers learning and development stipends, annual social travel budgets, annual company offsites, and co-working stipends for remote employees. Growth potential includes leading the People Programs function as the team scales, taking on direct reports and broader People org ownership while continuing to do meaningful individual contributor work.
