Amplitude, a leading AI analytics platform serving 4,700+ customers including Atlassian, Burger King, and NBCUniversal, is hiring its first People Operations Analyst in India. This is a foundational role on the global People Operations team, supporting EMEA and AMER specialists with shared services and HR operations work.
In the near term, responsibilities are largely transactional: resolving HR helpdesk tickets via Console AI, processing Workday data requests, coordinating onboarding logistics, and handling employee inquiries around policy, employment verification, leave, and benefits. You'll triage issues requiring specialist input (Benefits, Payroll, Legal) and maintain response SLAs while flagging patterns to leadership.
You'll own Workday accuracy by processing employee lifecycle transactions—job changes, compensation updates, terminations, leaves of absence, location changes, and new hire data entry. Regular data quality checks and SOX offboarding controls are critical. You'll support People Business Partners globally with administrative follow-through: pulling reports, tracking action items, and prepping materials.
As AI tooling and automation mature, this role evolves. You'll shift from transactional work to process improvement projects, documentation, and shaping how the team operates. The company is deliberately building toward AI-assisted workflows and wants someone who can help identify automation opportunities through day-to-day feedback.
This is a fully remote role requiring genuine self-direction. You'll receive clear priorities and good systems but own your own day. Success requires 2–3 years in HR, People Operations, or related administrative/analytical work; hands-on HRIS experience (Workday preferred); familiarity with shared services or helpdesk environments; strong attention to detail; clear written communication; and curiosity about HR systems and AI's impact on operations. You must have the right to work in India.
